I saw this picture and it seemed timeless to me, which made me wonder: How long have we allowed rape to happen? How long has this fight been going on. Women have had the right to vote and higher suffrage for decades. We as a "Free Nation" escaping oppression and seeking "Justice" have been around for more than a couple of centuries. Why? Why do people try to and fight this? Why won't people hold themselves accountable for what they do? and WHY has this fight and injustice been going on for SO LONG? I have loved ones and people that I care about that I don't want to ever see be a victim in this war. I don't want my children to grow up in a world where people argue about what a victim was wearing. I hope that by participating and educating myself I can do my part and make this world a little bit of a better place.
